ForTube 2.0 carried out three main upgrades compared with the original version:

  1. Flexible support of global popular cryptocurrencies, providing higher yield combinations.
  2. Upgrades on algorithm and ledger structure, significantly reducing gas cost.
  3. Technical framework upgrade with more secure contracts.

In addition to the above functions, ForTube 2.0 optimizes the user interface, email reminders, as well as adding on-chain historical transaction records. The core development team always emphasizes great importance on security and uses respected international auditing companies SlowMist, Certik, and Peckshield for professional code auditing services.

Step by step tutorials for ForTube 2.0:

Preparations:

1. Download the Google Chrome browser and install MetaMask wallet (please visit https://www.jianshu.com/p/e7137f8daddd for detailed installation tutorial)

Note: Be sure to ensure a secure network environment and keep the MetaMask mnemonic and password. Losing the mnemonic will cause the loss of your assets.

2. Open the Google Chrome browser, visit https://for.tube, and select the Bank V2 section (see the picture below).

4. After entering the Bank2.0 homepage, click [Connect] in the upper right corner, or select [Connect] in the pop-up dialog box. Click [Sign] in the pop-up box of the MetaMask wallet to successfully connect the wallet to the ForTube platform.

Access:

On the [Market Overview] page, you can see the system’s [Total market deposits], [Total value locked], [Supported tokens], and other information of the system.

1. Deposit assets

  1. Select the asset to be deposited in the [Supported tokens] section, click to enter the [Deposit/Withdraw] interface. Users need to authorize if this is the first time for them to deposit. Enter the amount of assets, click [ Deposit]

2. On the pop-up [Confirm] page, users can see the changes in assets after depositing. After confirming the information, click [Confirm].

Withdraw assets:

1. Select the asset to be withdrawn, click to enter the [Deposit/Withdraw] interface. Enter the amount of assets you want to withdraw and click [Withdraw].

Note: The user’s available amount is not only related to its own account balance but also related to the system balance. That is, users cannot withdraw the amount of assets greater than the personal [withdrawable amount] or greater than the [system balance];

2. On the pop-up [Confirm] page, users can see the changes in assets. After confirming the information, click [Confirm].

Note:

1. When users deposit, the deposited assets will first repay the loan (if any) of [this asset], and the net asset will generate deposit interest;

2. When users perform a withdrawal, the [Withdawable amount] of the token includes the [deposit amount] of the token and the [borrowable amount] based on other collaterals. Interests will be generated if there are debts after withdrawal.

3. Every deposit you make will increase your borrowable limit, and each withdrawal will reduce your borrowable limit accordingly.

3. My BANK

Select [My BANK] on the top menu bar to view account information details. Users can view their [ Account total value], [Health index], details about deposit and borrowing for each asset, [Trading record], and [Debt repayment record] .

1. Total account value: the user’s net asset value in the system.

2. The health index is used to reflect the value of the user’s [debt health], which is the ratio of the user’s collaterals to debt. When the “health index” is less than 1.1, users are strongly recommended to deposit assets to make the health index above 1.25 to avoid liquidation triggered when the value is <1.0.

3. Details about deposit and borrowing: Users can view the deposit or debt details of the corresponding assets.

4. Trading records: Users can view detailed trading records, including deposits, withdrawals, borrowing, and repayment records.

5. Debt repayment records: Users can view the records of passive debt payments due to liquidation.

Liquidation:

Select [Liquidation] in the top menu bar to view the list of debts that can be liquidated in the system.

The steps to participate in the liquidation are as follows:

1. Select the target asset, click “Liquidate” to enter the liquidation details page;

2. The liquidator selects the target debt he wants to deposit and the pledged asset he wants to redeem, enters the target amount;

3. Confirm the expected amount of pledged tokens (the amount already includes the liquidation reward), click [Liquidate] , and the transaction authorized for liquidation will be initiated.

4. After the liquidation authorization is successful, the transaction will be initiated, and the liquidator needs to confirm through the wallet.

5. The record of successful liquidation can be viewed in “My liquidation”.
